Gwaredu Scab was a Wales-wide programme to eliminate sheep scab.

This was the first test-and-treat project of its kind anywhere in the country.

Gwaredu Scab was funded by the Welsh Government and led by Coleg Sir Gâr.

The programme ran between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2026

Update

Gwaredu Scab is not able to offer financial support to help farmers eradicate sheep scab at the moment, as the funding has now ended.
